Dynatrace Security
Connect security findings with the applications and services that create business exposure
Dynatrace Security adds runtime and service context to security analysis so that engineering and security teams can understand which findings affect running applications and where investigation or remediation should start.
Security context in running services
The capability covers runtime vulnerability and exposure context, application and service dependencies, attack and risk investigation, prioritization, security workflow integration, and validation of remediation. It can use Dynatrace information to relate technical findings to the affected services and operating environment.
Using findings responsibly
CodeAttest applies this capability when a customer needs to interpret Dynatrace security data alongside application architecture, observability and operational priorities. The exact security scope must be agreed explicitly; this capability does not by itself constitute a penetration test, legal compliance certification or formal security audit.
Runtime and dependency context can help distinguish findings affecting a running service from those with less immediate operational relevance. It does not by itself prove exploitability or replace a specialist security test. The finding, the affected service and the available evidence all matter when choosing a response.
